BODYBAG by Jude embraces the principles of slow fashion by designing all garments in Montreal's Mile-End workshop-boutique. Jude and her assistant carefully craft each piece to ensure high-quality, sustainable production. The brand’s commitment to slow fashion means that production takes place locally in Montreal and its surroundings, supporting the local industry and skilled workers. By working with expert manufacturers, BODYBAG by Jude minimizes its environmental footprint while promoting thoughtful, lasting fashion. The garments are available at the workshop-boutique on Bernard Street, online, and in over 30 boutiques across Canada, as well as selected outlets in the United States.

TOP QUALITY RAW MATERIALS:

We strive to find quality fabrics to construct our garments with an emphasis on natural fibers. Many of our fabrics come from Italy, France, the United States and even Canada.

We prioritize sustainable materials, and many of our favorite fabrics are OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring they meet high environmental and safety standards. This commitment to ethical sourcing aligns with our dedication to slow fashion and creating garments that last.

We aim to Reduce our impact

We approach design through a slow fashion lens, prioritizing eco-responsible fabrics and long-term wear. In practice, this means:

  • Small production runs

  • Optimized pattern cutting to reduce waste


  • Re-using hangtags by removing all price and style information before re-attaching them to new garments

  • Limited use of plastic, including polybags

  • Reuse or resale of leftover fabric
